Peter Parker was born in 1888 to Richard and Mary Parker, who fell ill under unfortunate circumstance and left him parentless in London, England. Living in an orphanage before fleeing the establishment due to poor treatment, he eventually met fellow orphan Clara Oswin Oswald when he was only about seven or eight in age. He had considerably poor eyesight and was often the subject of bullying, though Clara was somewhat of a protector against the kids who were much larger than him.

He had many jobs over the years, starting with time as a paperboy on corners and eventually worked up to manual labor and other odd jobs. Then, at the age of 14, he ended up... well. Bit by a strange spider. Sounds familiar, huh? His eyesight had improved overnight and he found he could crawl across walls and bend metal with his bare hands. Such skill had to be kept under secrecy, and he confided only in Clara what had happened to him. The stamina that had resulted from his gifts had helped in him becoming a well-respected worker.

His real passion, though he hasn't been able to follow it much, is invention and the sciences. And... photography. Oh, he has found a surprisingly supple amount of people requesting he take photos of them... They're (mostly) family friendly. Mostly. And predominantly women who may or may not want to have their photos taken by a handsome young fellow in suspenders.

Working as a photographer and improving his craft with little new inventions here and there, he one day hopes to produce some of the best cameras the world can buy. Imagine, Parker Film! Parker Cameras? Maybe that'll do.

Such daydreaming is interrupted by Clara surprising him with tickets to board the Titanic, and an offer to help him try to reconnect with whatever family he may have across the sea.
