As it turns out I just recently experienced a very long sleep.

I'm not 100% sure about where the heck they came from, but that's par the course.
You're gonna need a weapon made out of antler
or out of monster bones from the mountains
Seems like the only things that'll actually keep them down permanently.

I've ran into a few, yup.
They don't like getting webbed to trees. I've tried throwing them back into the forest, and a number of people have tried stabbing, shooting, etc.
Just the antler and bone works.

I don't know much why the monster bones work so well, but I know the antlers have a very particular importance in this town. They're invaluable.

The antlers do seem to have a lot of power.
I guess it adds to the whole 'deer' theme...
There's gotta be more to it. I'd love to know what you know about that.

They absolutely hold a lot of power, yeah.
From what Sodder's told me, they carry the spiritual power of every Sleeper that has been or ever will be.
I don't know about you, but that sounds incredible, considering the kinds of people who live here.

Please, do indulge me, what exactly do you mean by the kind of people who live here?

You know, just... there are some insanely powerful people here. The Sleepers here, they can do some really incredible things. Heal people. Pick up cars over their heads, or see into the future. Move things with their minds or regenerate. So many things, I can't even begin to list it all.

Imagine that kind of power all in the form of a single weapon forged from an antler. I don't know if there's a way to completely tap into that, but...

I must admit I'm not used to work alongside others but I've seen what the so-called power of teamwork can do. ( he shouldn't sound so bitter about it but, what can you do? )

Just say the word, though, I'll do what I can. Granted that I've been gathering a little information myself, I can't say it's anything groundbreaking yet. These... occurrences that keep happening every now and then aren't making things easy.

I wouldn't discredit whatever you can find. A chunk of the pamphlet was definitely written thanks to people delivering information to me. If you're missing even just one piece, it totally makes a puzzle look terrible.

Okay, kind of a shaky comparison, but you know what I'm getting at.

Just don't get yourself killed snooping for information.

No, it is a good comparison, as a detective myself, or... should I say, ex-detective, ( pseudo-detective, more like it. ) I know exactly what you mean.

I'm not nearly as reckless as you probably are, Parker-san. ( if the stories are anything to go by... but that is also a lie. ) But thank you for the advice.
